Absolutely delicious. I've been to several different, mellow mushrooms around the country, and this was a really good location. Our food was fresh and hot, and the prices were right. Spinach was delicious! Pizza is always great! The ambience inside was really cool, tons of mushroom murals, as well as an amazing Mural on the outside of the building. Our waitress was really nice, as well as the woman who sat Ass down for our table. She accommodated us due to having a stroller. Definitely stop by if you're looking for some pizza and other cool options as well.

Second visit to this location. During both visits the pizza was on point. Crispy crust, tasty toppings. Service was a bit slow, but not bad enough to warrant a lower rating. Will definitely return.

Definitely a must for pizza lovers! So many options and possibilities. Staff is great and fast. Great indoor seating with a cool environment, also some outdoor seating, weather permitting. Make it a stop during your stay

We absolutely loved this pizza place! As we walked up to it, we were impressed by that beautiful globe on their outside patio. Then, we walked into the restaurant to see a large, inviting, modern space. The service is also excellent! We were so glad that we could pick 2 totally different flavors in halves on a same pizza. We got a Holy Shitaki/meat lovers. Everything about that pizza is delicious, the crust, sauce and toppings! They also have many option in drinks. The blue berry lemonade is very refreshing. We will definitely be back!

Was staying at the Hyatt next door and wanted some pizza for lunch. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and absolutely LOVED it. The crust was the perfect level of soft and crispy. The sauce is nice and rich, and tons of cheese despite not ordering extra cheese. My wife and I loved it so much we went back before we left and got their Great White pizza, also AMAZING if you like a white pizza with ricotta. I wish we lived nearby because that would have become our go to pizza place.

this was my first time visiting the mellow mushroom at virginia beach, and what a great experience! it was nicely decorated and had ample seating. it was definitely a vibe. we arrived on tuesday before 7pm, and had no clue they held trivia nights. it's completely optional, but we decided to join for fun! the service was amazing, our waitress was incredibly kind and often checked on us-- but not in a way that makes you feel pressured or rushed. the trivia wasn't a disturbance either, they kept the music at a reasonable level and we didn't have to yell or anything to hear-- unlike my experience at the richmond mellow mushroom. the food was great as expected. the crust was perfectly crispy and fluffy. i ordered a lavender lemonade which was on their mocktail menu and it was perfect! i would definitely come back.

My first experience with Mellow Mushroom was when we visited Lynchburg VA (just a month prior) and was very impressed. I had no idea a Mellow Mushroom was here and was excited to compare and see what we had to offer. Upon arrival, seeing the outside paintings, globe and vibe definitely kept on par with the vibe at Lynchburg. The inside I felt was a bit smaller and not as "hip" as Lynchburg but still very cool if you didn't have the comparison fresh in the mind. Where I felt this would shine is the outside bar and seating. Being this is the beach, I could see that being an awesome atmosphere to have great pizza, craft brews and cocktails while soaking up the sun. I felt this vibe was a bit better than the other location however both being awesome in their own right while keeping the "Mellow Mushroom" vibes going regardless of where you visit. The pizza was fantastic here I must add. The waiter was awesome as well. What was his name? Had glasses, very personable., just good all around. He told us about mix matching any pizza which blew our minds and didn't know that at the other location. We mixed a meat lovers type with a chicken pizza one and it was the bomb!!! Definitely felt the pizza was done better here. We now have a place to satisfy that pizza crave when we want "GOOD pizza"! Was so glad we visited and can't wait to check it out when the outside is open. A must visit!

I came to Mellow Mushroom on Friday night and it was a great atmosphere. My cousin and I sat at the bar and the waitress was so attentive and answered all of our questions as it was our first time. The aesthetics of the restaurant definitely gives off modern, classic, and fun. The pink chairs at the bar are amazing. Now to the food, the pizza was amazing. I forgot the name but it had multiple cheeses and I couldn't stop eating it. For my drink, I had a frozen orange crush and it was delicious. This will be my go to pizza spot when I'm at the oceanfront.

First time and overdue as I have been excited about Mellow Mushroom's arrival in Virginia Beach last Summer. I have been a fan many years. Parking is off street by meter or they have their own garage just North of the establishment. I'm unsure the cost. The signage is awesome as a walk mural will greet you. A very large outdoor seating area with bar is fantastic for the oceanfront location. The dining room is pretty cool with a large enclosed area perfect for large groups. Glass surrounds three sides for a nice view, but no water. The indoor area has a large bar with maybe 30 taps. Everything was clean and presented nicely. My party of three were seated on an early weekday around 530 PM. Our male waiter was welcoming and friendly the entire time and on top of service with checking on the order. As well as checking on refills. The order was a medium pepperoni, sausage & bacon pie. A soda and tap. I did not care first he beer and swapped out for a Bingo which was great! The pizza came out within 20 minutes and was hot and ready to be served. The size was perfect for two adults and teen. The tasty pizza was thoroughly enjoyed and we loved the custom pie. Although everything was pretty much flawless I must note a failed opportunity by management. A man in a black shirt walked by, kinda inspected the table then moved on without a word or even smile. It was the manager and disappointing that with a very slow night he did not check on us as we just finished up. A 4.5 rounding down with a failed opportunity by management to interact with guest.
